Mutual Muse: When Photographers Become the Subject in a TFP Photoshoot

So, it all started when Nikya Harris, aka Dainger Zone Photographer, posted in a Corpus Christi TFP photography group on Facebook. She was looking for fellow photographers interested in a unique collaboration. As soon as I saw her post, I knew we had to team up. We decided to take on the challenge of photographing each other, swapping our usual roles behind the camera for a turn in front of the lens. The result? A fun and creative TFP photoshoot that pushed our boundaries and showcased our skills in new ways.

We decided to meet up in downtown Corpus Christi, where the mix of urban and coastal vibes set the perfect backdrop for our shoot. As the golden hour cast its warm glow and transitioned into the cool blues of blue hour, we got to work. Nikya was a natural in front of the camera, and I captured some fantastic shots that truly showcased her talent and personality. The light was perfect, and the energy was even better, making for an unforgettable TFP photoshoot experience.

But it wasn't just me behind the lens. Nikya also got some incredible shots of me that evening. Her ability to capture the right moment, along with her unique perspective, resulted in some of my favorite photos ever.
