Client guide / Start here

Show up informed.
Not overprepared.

A general guide to what happens before, during, and after a Heretic Photo session. This will grow as the full client guide is developed.

01

Before the session

Once the session is booked, we confirm the concept, location, timing, privacy expectations, and anything that could affect the shoot. If you have references, wardrobe ideas, accessibility needs, or concerns, send them before the session rather than waiting until you arrive.

02

Wardrobe & personal items

Bring options that feel like you and fit the concept. Clean, well-fitting pieces photograph better than something chosen only because it feels “photo appropriate.” If the session involves multiple looks, organize them so changes are easy.

03

The day of the shoot

Arrive ready to communicate. You do not need modeling experience; direction is part of my job. If something feels wrong, uncomfortable, or simply not like you, say so. We can adjust the pose, wardrobe, lighting, or idea.

04

Boudoir, fetish & intimate work

Boundaries are discussed before and during the session. You decide what you are comfortable wearing, showing, and creating. A trusted adult may attend if that helps you feel more comfortable. Nothing from a paid session is published without explicit permission.

05

After the session

The editing and delivery process depends on the session and the final agreement. I select and finish the strongest photographs rather than delivering every frame made during the shoot. Delivery expectations are confirmed with the booking details.

06

Questions & changes

If something changes before the shoot, reach out. Scheduling problems, accessibility needs, location issues, privacy questions, wardrobe concerns, and creative changes are easier to solve when I know about them early.

Specific beats generic

Your session gets
its own details.

This page is the baseline, not a substitute for the details of your actual booking. If your session needs something different, the session-specific plan wins.
