Forgotten.Still speaking.
Abandoned places photographed for what remains — texture, history, atmosphere, and the strange beauty that appears when a space is left behind.
Decay has
a language.
Urbex photography is less about making a place look abandoned and more about paying attention to what abandonment leaves behind: worn surfaces, broken structures, personal traces, and rooms that still carry a sense of who or what occupied them.
I photograph these spaces as they are, using available light, composition, and detail to preserve the atmosphere without turning the location into a set.
The result is part documentation and part interpretation — photographs of places caught somewhere between use, neglect, and disappearance.
Photograph the place.
Do not rewrite it.
The strongest abandoned-space photographs usually come from observing what is already there. Light, decay, symmetry, clutter, color, and scale do the heavy lifting when they are given room to speak for themselves.
I look for the details that make each location distinct, from the broad architecture of a room to the smaller evidence of time passing through it. The goal is to preserve the character of the space rather than force it into a predetermined aesthetic.
Know a place
worth preserving?
If you have access to an abandoned, historic, industrial, or otherwise unusual location, I am always interested in hearing about spaces with a story still left in them.
